I have a whole yootyoob playlist of anglican schmalz - though as a Catholic friend of mine said, a non-singer, it seems to be more fun to sing than to listen too. Practically all devoted fans are folk who sang it! For me it's also nostalgia for the last good (be', last semi-decent) choir I have sung in. :( I just can't face joining something that rehearses the same things week in week out, after getting used to putting on a service with an hour's rehearsal or whatever it was. Also I was by far the worst member, so it's doubtful I'll ever get a place in a choir of a similar standard again. Double :(
